The Artist Building

300 Summer St

Boston, MA 02210-1115

The Artist Building at 300 Summer Street was created in 1995, as a limited equity Cooperative. The mission was to create permanent affordable artist live-work space in Boston. FPAC (Fort Point Arts Community, Inc.) was the nonprofit sponsor of its development. The project's initial lenders Boston Community Capital (formerly known as Boston Community Loan Fund (BCLF)) and the Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC) also share FPAC's mission of creating affordable housing.
